The invention relates to a card reading configuration in a mobile
phone, comprising a space in the housing (1) for
the SIM card (8), the space being covered by the battery unit. The
walls (2) defining the space laterally are provided with grooves
(6), which serve to guide the card (8) into position and to position
it in other directions than the longitudinal direction (A). The
configuration is such that it requires the battery unit to be pushed
in the longitudinal direction (A) at the end of its insertion, the
stopper in the battery unit thus pressing the card against the stop
(15), which positions the card in the longitudinal direction. The
battery unit also keeps the card pressed against the contacts placed
below the card.
A personal portable integrator is used to integrate the services
of an arbitrary audio delivery device such as an MP3, CD, DVD, radio,
or other media player, with the services of an arbitrary two-way
communication device such as a mobile phone,
or a two-way radio such as a walkie talkie, citizen band radio (e.g.
CB), HAM radio, marine or aviation radio, and the like. The portable
integrator receives and provides input and output signals from both
the audio delivery device and the two-way communication device,
thereby enabling a user to listen to music or other audio material
and receive and place phone calls on a mobile phone
simultaneously. The portable integrator provides
these services by switching between the audio and communication
devices, mixing signals received therefrom, and optionally enabling
a user to reduce the volume or mute the signals as desired.
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for
using a mobile phone in a Wireless Office
Network. The apparatus includes a Service Engine 40 connected between
a MSC 30 and a PBX 50. The Service Engine 40 includes a Subscriber
Data Base 43 in which mobile telephone extensions and corresponding
wireless Office System extension number (WOSno) are registered.
When the service engine receives a call to a WOS user the service
engine converts the WOS number to the corresponding mobile subscriber
number. The WOS number of a calling part is being presented on the
terminal of the called part.
A method and system provides automatic/timed silencing of a mobile
phone by a telecommunications network. The method
has the steps of: forming a schedule of silence at a mobile
phone ; sending the schedule of silence to a mobile
switching center; storing the schedule of silence in a subscriber
database in the mobile switching center; blocking at least incoming
calls at the mobile switching center according to the stored schedule
of silence, and sending a first message to the mobile
phone that instructs the mobile phone
to enter a silence mode; transmitting, according
to the stored schedule of silence, a second message from the mobile
switching center to the mobile phone
that instructs the mobile phone to exit
the silence mode, and ceasing to block at least the incoming calls
to the mobile phone . The system implements
the method.
An improved structure of a mobile phone
hand-free holder, includes a holder, an upper casing, a lower casing,
a resilient locking seat and a press lever; a cross link pivoted
to the center; an insertion protruding from end of the pivot to
slide in a lateral slide way in the upper casing, both ends of the
cross link being connected respectively to both sides of the holder;
one side of the holder is serrated at the edge; the locking seat
being provided by the serration to have two stoppers protruding
into the serration to force the holder to only press inwardly to
be held in position; an earphone socket also functioning as a switch
to control transmission of an incoming call to be received by a
cordless earphone or an external speaker or a car radio; the lateral
displacement of the cross link in the slide way to deflect the center
to hold a mobile phone with its plug
socket not provided at the center.
A mobile phone with base-detachable
hinge structure is provided. The mobile phone
compromises a base unit, a display unit, a hinge structure and a
protection casing. The hinge structure, which can be attached to
and detached from the base unit by means of a fixing device, is
detachable from the display unit and the base unit. The design of
base-detachable hinge structure in the invention facilitates the
assembly and repair of the mobile phone,
lest the hinge structures would be damaged during the process of
disassembly resulting in discarded base units. As a result, it becomes
environmentally friendly that unnecessary waste is reduced and the
usefulness of the base unit improved.
The purpose of the invention is to provide an improved mobile
phone with prevention of numbed hands of the user
under even a cold environment. The mobile phone
includes a heating circuit. In the heating circuit, a battery 14
has connections with leading and trailing ends of a line 20 to be
heated. The heated line 20 has connections with a thermostat 22
and an outside-operable switch 23. The heating circuit is disposed
within the area where is between the bottom and the leading edge
of the back casing 1b of the housing in the mobile phone
.
The present invention relates to a structure of an antenna and
its shielding structure for a mobile phone
which may significantly reduce the hazardous electromagnetic wave
transmitted to the user's body. The present invention arranges a
monopole antenna inside of the mobile phone
housing, and installs an electromagnetic wave absorber between the
antenna and the circuit board. The electromagnetic wave absorber
can absorb the electromagnetic wave reflected form conductive plate
constituting the circuit board. Thus, the adverse effect of the
reflected electromagnetic wave to the performance of antenna is
prevented and the amount of the electromagnetic wave to which the
users is exposed can be significantly reduced as well.
A securing mechanism for a mobile phone
comprises a spool case, a holding plate, and at least a clasp. The
spool case accommodates a chain cord with a hook end. The spool
case has two sides to which the holding plate and the clasp are
attached, respectively. The clasp is hung on and clamps a belt,
and the hook is hooked on the mobile phone .
When not in use, the mobile phone is
put on the holding plate After being removed from the holding plate
for use, the mobile phone is still secured
and will not fall down and be damaged or get lost.
A built-in multi-band mobile phone antenna
includes: a meandering conductive body having a signal feeding point,
and first and second meandering conductive portions disposed at
two sides of the signal feeding point; a conductive flat first radiating
plate in electrical connection with the first meandering conductive
portion and tuned to a low frequency range; an elongated conductive
flat second radiating plate in electrical connection with the second
meandering conductive portion and a grounding point and tuned to
a high frequency range; and a conductive flat parasitic plate in
electrical connection with the grounding point so as to widen the
bandwidth of the antenna. The conductive body, the first and second
radiating plates, and the parasitic plate define cooperatively a
plate-shaped accommodating space thereamong for receiving a plate-shaped
electronic element.
A holder for an object (10) such as a mobile phone,
a palm computer or the like, comprising a back (1)
and two separate walls (2), which are generally parallel and extend
the same way from the back (1), said walls (2) having on their mutually
facing sides resilient engagement plate (4) for engagement with
a respective side edge of the object (10). Each engagement plate
(4) has the shape of a base plate (41) with a plurality of separate
protruding support elements (42, 42'). The free ends of which define
the free surfaces of the engagement plates. The thickness of the
support elements (42, 42') is substantially less than their protrusion
length from the base plate (41).
The invention is directed to a digital mobile phone
of a type using a subscriber identification module,
the improvement being that there is an externally attached holder
for at least two subscriber identification modules so that either
can be readily selected by a switch for use in the same phone. There
are also described flexible circuits that are used to connect the
electrical contacts used conventionally for reading a subscriber
identification module by the phone inside the phone that are able
to slip through gaps that are naturally occurring between protective
covers of the phone because of necessary manufacturing tolerances
so that the external subscriber identification modules can be connected
without prejudicing manufacturers warranties on any phone.
A dual mode transmitter/receiver adds two-way radio functionality
to a frequency division duplex mobile phone .
The dual mode transmitter/receiver allows short-range and low-power
communication between similarly equipped phones. In the two-way
radio mode, the dual mode mobile phone
transmits and receives at a frequency between the normal mobile
transmit and receive frequency bands so that a number of transmitter/receiver
components are utilized for both normal and two-way radio communication.
